Countdown Till the End of The World

Hello fellow weirdo's.  It appears we have reached the end.  Looking back I wish I wrote in this thing a little more.  It was off to a good start... it actually was a "daily" weirdo for a while.  But alas, it is what it is...a "sometimes" weirdo and possibly after tomorrow (12/21/2012 around 6:30 am, it will be a weirdo no more.  That is because, the Mayan calender does not continue after tomorrow.  Does this mean they simply just thought, "hell, we have to stop somewhere" or "I doubt the world will still be around at that point"? Probably.  BUT... for the chance that it was because they had advance knowledge of the apocalypse,  I will say this, as Michael Stipe once said, "I feel fine".  By the way, the picture above is actually, NOT a bunch of animal crackers neatly organized, but the Mayan calender itself.

I feel fine indeed.  As an unemployed and bored man-child that cannot even keep a blog updated, some crazy apocalypse in which our lives are turned into a Mad Max movie isn't looking so bad.
Also, if we don't survive it's important to realize, we all have to check out at some point, why not go as a group?  This would be a little more comforting knowing that, 1. We all made it to the end, hallelujah, we managed to survive living in this shithole for x amount of years until it finally imploded and 2. We'd get to go knowing that we wouldn't be missing anything.  That new season of Breaking Bad?  Isn't gonna happen.  Your friends fancy dinner party?  Nobody will be there.  The iphone 6?  Sorry, it ends with the 5.

So if you belong to the one out of every ten people who is facing some anxiety about 12/21/2012, relax!  It could be a lot worse.  Remember the treeman?
