Deer Tick's John McCauley peforms in front of toilets

At Sasquatch fest this past May, the mastermind behind the band Deer Tick, John McCauley plays the song "Main Street" in front of a bunch of porta potties for npr.  This would be a strange location for any other band, but if you are familiar with Deer Tick and their gritty rock n roll sound and stage antics, you will know that it's quite fitting...

I can assure you, that had I been there I would've coincidentally been in the porta potty directly behind taking a shit, when suddenly I'd hear, in horror,  a mini concert breaking out.   Then I'd be stuck in there the whole time til the damn things over so I wouldn't have to walk out in front of a crowd that knew I was just taking a shit.
That's just me though, at the end of the video, John himself is taking a shit in one of the porta potties with the door open and camera on him.  Needless to say, he is a true rocker, not an unemployed blogger, so people are okay with that.  I bet Deer Tick could even put it on a t-shirt and it'd sell faster than cans of pbr in williamsburg.  Hell, it worked for Ozzy...remember this?
Anyhow, Deer Tick is in my top 5 favorite bands right now and have been for a while.  Does it have something to do with the fact that McCauley is a fellow Nirvana superfan and that Deer Tick often covers Nirvana songs?  Maybe, but I did like them before I knew that.  Anyways, check out a link to that performance HERE.

Also here is a video of the full band covering Harvey Danger for the Onion's avclub.
I'd embed the actual videos but apparently I only know how to do that with youtube video's, and I'm kind of pissed off about that so I don't wanna talk about it anymore.
